hi all, for the german speaking, a german language article about Anselm von Seherr. a german c4d &maya user who works in meanwhile for prime focus in LA, he/they made quite some things in avatar (the movie) at Prime focus LA.

they used max with vray and krakatoa(inhouse software from prime focus)

see the great new audi ad, made almost fully with vrayforc4d(volume lights and front lights with AR, rest all with Vray).

hi all, this is the old original barking dog - vray video:-)

it was made on a 2007 mac pro 3ghz 8 core, 8gb ram, with win xp64.
all renders are in reat time speed(not speedup), nothing prechached!

as one asked about which GI setups i used: the setting used are the "very low", "low", and "medium" p

Hi all,

a small tipp:

turning of the feature "show calculation during GI" can speedup your renderings extremely if you render big images sizes.
also it takes a lot less ram.

it also solves if you get a crash on huge render sizes on windows and 11.5, due to low memory of the picture viewer. so on

one of the best modelling tool additions is released by Franz, our vray beta tester and friend.

he has developed a great toolset, that makes modelling real fun in c4d.
it brings many things i wished for years to come to c4d.
