    Thanks, I will plead my employer for an upgrade then. We absolutely need to get into VR.

    Hi. So we finally got R18 and vray 3.4. The 6x1-cube camera option is outstanding, now you can basically render straight into your VR-device.
    The correct settings have already been explained on the first section of this thread. I settled on a resolution of 18432x1536px. If you follow these instructions, you are relatively save. But I would like to remind you that if you get weird distortions and the cubes don't go together seamlessly, you might want to check if your camera is shifted! Set shift to 0%.

    Took me a while to figure that out. Of course it won't work if the camera is shifted. Although I can't really explain it. If anybody can, be my guest :)
