interesting would be if possible:
one gtx 480 and later on one of the new teslas like c2070

the pcie- connection on mac pro allows 300 w, so i guess a gtx 480 could make some problems

(i guess thats the reason you only can configure one ati 5870 and not two...)

well if they are finally available, i ´ll have to check...

intersting would be if vray rt in the future will be able to work with ati, but i`m afraid you are not allowed to talk about such features..

It will work with ATI cards. Just look at Vlados Vray RT GPU preview on youtube. I think he said specifically that they will implement support for both manufacturerers, so that you aren't tied down to one.

yes vray rt is NOT cuda based, but open CL, which supports all cards, not only nvidia.
