I still can't make a real flythrough Light cache pass with all the different frames samples melting.
It seems to work frame by frame. I would like to render the whole flythrough light cache in the 1st frame like in 1.1 Haven't found the problem yet ... any idea ? Thanks Mike |

Tong: i have in console the error you mentioned: error set env
I use windows 7x64 pro. I tried installing DotnetFX 3.5 and It doesn't want to. I get errors. It is outdated, too old to work on win7. I installed succesfully the other package: visual c++ 2008 runtime. But this did not solve the issue. I still get that error in the console.

I just checked. In windows 7, there's included MS DotnetFX 3.5.1. I found this in control panel.

For those who installed C4D 11.5 since this morning on x64, check installation folders,
C4D 11 used to be installed in /programfiles(x86) whereas 11.5 goes to program files. Check you copied the key and bridge files in the right folders. Never know ... |

Tong: yes, for me it is not the key. I have it placed correctly and it works. I have all the Vray materials and the vray settings appear in the render settings.
It only crashes when it has to render, even a material preview. So, it crashes when I add a new material in the list, hehe.

have you removed all old vray components (.dll files) from the maxon folder. I had the same crash behaviour patterns as you and that was my problem, running fine now - although displacement only seems to use 25% cpu power in the irr pass phase even though its showing 4 buckets but thats a different story!
